Scott Welch, CIMA®

Scott Welch is the founder of UnconstrainedThought™, which offers objective macro-economic, investment, and wealth management advice and consultation. 

Previously, he was the Chief Investment Officer – Model Portfolios for WisdomTree Asset Management, a factor-based ETF product sponsor and model portfolio solutions provider. In this role, Scott was responsible for overseeing the asset allocation, portfolio construction, and ongoing management of WisdomTree model portfolios.

Scott was formerly the Chief Investment Officer at Dynasty Financial Partners, a provider of outsourced solutions to RIAs. Prior to joining Dynasty,  Scott was a co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Fortigent, LLC, a provider of outsourced solutions to RIAs and banks.  

Scott holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation and earned the Investment Strategist, Advanced Investment Strategist, and Alternative Investments Certificates from the Investments & Wealth Institute (IWI). Management. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of California at Irvine and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
