Treasury yields fluctuated, briefly dipping below 4.00% before rebounding, while crude oil extended its three-week decline. Gold surged above $4,300 per ounce before settling near $4,250. With limited economic data expected during the government shutdown, investors continue to weigh mixed signals on global growth, inflation, and monetary policy direction.
